Welcome! My name is Jessica LeBaron and I live in Seattle, WA with my fiancé and our elderly lab mix, Nyx. I created this site to serve as a portfolio to showcase the work I have completed as a marketing professional as well as a place to share my experience in the digital marketing space.
A bit of background:
I graduated from Washington State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Teaching and an endorsement in ELL (teaching English to English Language Learners). During my time as a teacher, I worked with Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grade students. I was also an elected Union Representative and Labor Management member for my school and district during the 2018-2019 school year.
In 2019 I made the switch to a new career path that was more aligned with my goals and aspirations. I accepted a Marketing Assistant position in Seattle for a PNW general contractor focusing on high-end residential and commercial builds. In September 2020 I was promoted to the Marketing Manager role, taking on the responsibility for the entire marketing department.
Throughout 2020 via Coursera, I was able to dive deeper into marketing. I decided to start with a Digital Marketing Specialization from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which I finished in August 2020, and then moved on to a Search Engine Optimization Specialization from University of California, Davis which I completed in early 2021. I continued my studies by enrolling in a Business Foundations Specialization offered by the University of Pennsylvania, and completed the capstone in June 2021.
In June 2021, I accepted a new job offer as a Growth Marketing Associate at a worldwide digital marketing agency based in Seattle. I joined paid search and social teams for a Fortune 300-ranking client focusing specifically on growth with mobile app campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, as well as video-focused campaigns via DV360. In March 2022, I was promoted to Manager, took on the mentorship of two colleagues, and began managing multiple teams of 5+ individual contributors.
Outside of work, I love to cook, get crafty, workout, cheer on the Mariners, garden, explore the city, and spend time with the people I love.
